Shino tea bowl with flower design, known as "Nami-no-hana"

Height 8.2cm, mouth diameter 12.8cm, base diameter 5.1cm
This is a half-tube tea bowl that has been thrown on the potter’s wheel in a simple manner, with a slightly high waist and a small base. The outer surface is painted with flowers and running water or haze, and several brush strokes are also painted on the prospective side, which is a rare pattern for Shino teacups. The glaze is smooth and the reddish color is beautiful. On the back of the lid of the box, Enshu Kobori wrote an inscription of a poem, “Even though the grass and trees change their colors, the Nani flowers of Watatsumi have no autumn” and “Naniwa” is written on the front of the lid.
