Height 10.3 cm, mouth diameter 13.1 cm, base diameter 5.7 cm
The shape of this vessel, with the mouth rim strongly twisted outward and the waist raised, is a variation of the Tenmoku style. The outer surface is decorated with a mountain range and trees, and the inner surface is decorated with several strokes of a flying cloud-like horizontal stripe pattern. The base is solid and circular, opening outward to reveal slightly hardened Hyakuso clay. There is another tea bowl exactly the same workmanship as this one, with a beautiful reddish color, but it is a rare Shino tea bowl.
