Height 4.8 cm, mouth diameter 19.7 cm, base diameter 9.9 cm, Kurita Museum of Art
This piece is decorated with an underglaze blue and white rounded design in underglaze blue, with a brightly colored peony and branch design on the inside. The design is well put together and the shape of the vessel is firm. The reverse side shows a lively peony arabesque design in the old Nabeshima style on the entire surface. This is an excellent piece from the Okawachi domain kiln, probably made between the Enpo and Genroku periods.
