　This piece depicts the chrysanthemum stream design often used in Arita overglaze enamels, but it is somewhat different from other chrysanthemum stream designs. Both the underglaze blue and overglaze blue are dark in color. The sword guard is surrounded by a design of blue ocean waves, and the back has a single cloisonne knot pattern on three sides. The mount is comb-shaped.
