This pair of Koguryu Hyougo Tokutari (gourd-shaped Tokutari) is in the collection of the Tokyo National Museum, and is considered to be the best of the Koguryu style gourd-shaped Tokutari. It is clearly modeled after the Shozui Hyogo-shaped Tokutari with a twisted flower design. The body of the gourd is tightened and covered with a twisted flower design, and the four sides are painted in white with a floral design. The base is flat, but some of this type of sake cups have a serpentine base.
