 This is an octagonal bowl with a stalagmite-shaped mouth. The front is decorated with two small birds on bamboo, bamboo shoots, and azalea-like flowers on the right and left sides of the rocks. The inside of the eight-sided bowl has a long frame with alternating patterns of flowers and birds and a four-sided tsujidashi, and the outside has a hexagonal frame with a Shozuimaru design. Inside the stand is a Kakufuku inscription in underglaze blue, which is a unique and unusual form of inscription.
