This is a copy of a yellow porcelain incense container from the Kouchi region. The lid is decorated with a deer design, and the body is decorated with a lotus petal design, both in relief. The deer is a bright yellow, and the rest of the piece is covered in a bluish green glaze. The mark “Eiraku” is stamped on the foot ring, and on the lid of the box it says “Kozhiyaki Kirei Kogou” on the front and “Zengoro Zou” on the back.
