Excavated from Kagawa, Chigasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture
14th century
Height 29.0cm, Aperture 9.0cm, Body 19.9cm, Bottom 9.8cm
The body is thin and still retains its old style, but the tendency to stand upright with little opening at the orifice and the low height and high base with a strong base are new features. From this period, painted inscriptions began to appear on the shoulders. The base is yellow and is made in a ring-forming molding.
The ash glaze was applied with a brush, and the oil layer was thin and unevenly applied. It was made between the end of the 13th and the beginning of the 14th century.
