This is one of the Honda Collection plum vases with a double mouth rim orifice and an archaic form with a tapered base. It is made of a yellowish-white, zanguri-stained base with a chrysanthemum seal design (4.3 cm in diameter) stamped on the shoulder in sets of three on each of the four sides. A line of chinkansen is drawn on the upper and lower sides of the shoulder.
The iron glaze is applied over the entire surface, but it is almost blackish-brown and unstable with strong yuzu stripes.
