This is a rare Shino tea bowl in the shape of a bowl with a rounded waist. The entire surface of the glazed skin has a reddish tinge, but this is due to the application of a thin layer of oniita (devil’s plate) under the glaze. The bottom of the bowl has a hand-kneaded base. It is a tea bowl inherited from Matsudaira Fumai.
