Height 6.3 cm, diameter 26.6 cm, tripod, Goto Museum of Art
This bowl is in the same style as the flat bowls in the collection of the Hatakeyama Memorial Museum of Fine Art, with a low rim and a mouth rim that is tucked into the inside. The design of chrysanthemums and tortoiseshell motifs are shown in light brush strokes on the surface, but the tortoiseshell motifs are painted on a white ground, rather than scratched off. The oniita is thickly coated, and the white glaze applied on top of it is probably thin, resulting in a bluish gray color. The bottom of the bowl has marks on three sides.
