Shino dish with pheasant design

Height 4.7 cm, mouth diameter 25.8 cm, bottom diameter 15.2 cm
A bird like a pheasant is crouched at the base of a glowing gold leaf. It is an extremely large and dynamic bowl. However, neither the design nor the glaze has the flavor of early Shino ware, suggesting that this bowl was probably made in the late period. The bottom is flat, and the center is shallowly carved. There are five marks in the prospect and six large marks in the base, and the glaze is partially worn.
