Shino mukozuke bowl with dotted pattern

Height 6.6 cm, mouth diameter 6.1 cm, bottom diameter 5.7 cm
This small bowl, with a tightened body in the shape of a gourd, may have originated as an incense burner. Today, it is also used as a tea ceremony utensil. The body is simply decorated with dotted mottled patterns on the upper and lower sides, and the entire surface is covered with a thick white glaze that melts well. The reddish color around the bottom of the bowl is very vivid and tasteful. The flat bottom of the bowl has a half-moon shaped mark.
