Seto tea bowl with chrysanthemum design, yellow temmoku type

Height 6.6 cm, diameter 12.5 cm, base 4.5 cm
A tea bowl of almost the same workmanship is also in the collection of the Fujita Museum of Art. Both the interior and exterior are iron-glazed with a chrysanthemum design covered with yellow Seto overlay, and the shape of the bowl suggests that it was made in the Momoyama period. It is a valuable material. It was probably made in Mino, but it is not clear where it was fired.
