This is a Kizeto ware of a bamboo Hikikiri lid and rest, which were widely used in the tea ceremony at that time. They are presumed to have been fired at the former residence, according to fragments excavated from the kiln site or at the former residence. The glaze is rather thin and the style is quite skillful. A similar green-glazed Oribe ware lid rest was also fired in the same kiln.
