This is a gorgeous work with a similar design to the “Rinka Bowl with Floral Design” owned by the Fujita Museum of Art, in which a rough floral design is shown in the entire prospective area, and then dotted with vitreous alum and iron glaze. It is a gorgeous work with a rough floral design that fills the entire surface of the bowl, and is covered in vitreous alum and iron glaze. It is wheel-thrown rather thinly, and the sides stand up almost in a straight line. The outer surface is carved with paulownia patterns.
