This mukozuke is a representative piece of Oribe Yashitada, which was fired at the Yashitada kiln in Oyashiki. The fan has a perforated bone, and the design is applied with ochre and iron pigments on the base, with a thin layer of feldspar glaze over the entire surface and green glaze in places. Compared to Oribe wares from Motoyashiki, Yashida Oribe wares are characterized by their elegant workmanship. However, the shape of the vessel is somewhat formal, and the legs on the three sides of the bottom are weak.
