This is a slightly deep standing shoestring-shaped tea bowl with one side of the mouth held down. The white part has a two-tiered pattern like a four-layered fence, and is covered with a feldspar glaze. The base is round and straight, and is marked with a “T” within the base. On the back of the lid of the box in which it is housed, Sen Sotan wrote “Souan”. It may have belonged to Sotan.
