These easily wheel-thrown, rather large-sized Tokugawa pots seem to have been mass-produced, and many of them are still in existence. However, most of them were excavated from kiln sites, and many of them seem to have had their necks grafted together. Figure 137 shows a willow, glauber’s saddle, and water plants on the reverse side, while Figure 138 shows a willow pattern on the front and a glauber’s saddle pattern on the reverse side. Figure 139 shows a design of water plants on all five sides, with a green glaze applied with a brush. It is one of the few examples of its kind.
