This incense burner has a unique shape, with the lower half of the body rounded, the upper part standing up smoothly, and the wide mouth stepped, and is now used as a fire holder. The body is decorated with a crescent moon and waves on one side, and a rabbit on the other side. The interior is glazed from the mouth to the base, and the bottom is made in the style of a go-zukuri. It was probably fired at Uchida Saraya Kiln. Rabbits are sometimes painted on tea bowls, but this is a rare piece.
