This is another suisashi of similar style to the Bizen or Mino Iga type. The body is covered with a comb pattern and hinokigaki motif, and the shoulders have ears on both sides. The flat tatami-matted body is molded with the “L” mark in two places. A piece of a water jar with the same mark has been excavated from the Tani Kiln at Ojiya, so it is thought to have been made at the same kiln. The glazed surface has a subdued color tone and is different from that of Bizen ware. It is accompanied by a lid.
