This bowl is probably used in kaiseki cuisine as a bowl for strong snacks or incense. It is a bowl with a light and elegant appearance, and its firing process is also very scenic. It is said to have once belonged to the treasured collection of Lord Matsudaira Fumai. The base is rounded and the body is rounded, and the mouth, which is twisted and warped at the edge, is distorted into the shape of a shoe. There are three round holes in the front, and the inside and outside are covered with a sesame glaze, which is partly blackened and partly covered with aかせhada. The bottom of the bowl is also beautiful. The fine line engraving on the shoulder is quite effective. It must have been made after the Keicho period.
