Height 16.9 cm, mouth diameter 16.2-16.7 cm, bottom diameter 16.7-17.4 cm
This is probably inspired by a vat, or perhaps a curved water jar. It is almost cylindrical in shape, without ears. The mouth is rounded, with a stepped spatula around the edge of the mouth and deep spatula carving at the base. This type of suzuji is popular in Bizen because of its sturdy and stable appearance. The bottom is flat, with a kiln mark on the prospective side, and three stone sumac patterns appear on the body. One side of the body is reddish brown and the other side is gray with yellow. In Bizen, this type of kiln change has been called “sangiri” since ancient times.
