Height 15.5 cm
This is probably an early Ibe-te piece, but the entire piece is molded rather thickly. The shape is a so-called “bird’s hat,” and it is formed in the shape of a diamond with a stroked angle. The outside and the inside of the bowl are thickly glazed, and it is burnished to a dark, blackish brown color. It is thought to be an early type of ouboshi-shaped water jar.
