Bizen Tea caddy. known as “Hojo”

Height 8.8 cm, mouth diameter 2.5 cm, body diameter 5.1 cm, bottom diameter 5.5 cm.  The mouth is small, the shoulders are stepped, and the tips of the shoulders are perfectly straight, while the body rises vertically. The body rises vertically. The hem is covered with a single spatula and the body is also decorated with seven beveled spatulas, making this an interesting tea caddy. The ash falls from the mouth to the shoulders, and the entire piece is slightly blackened, but some reddish patterns are visible. It is probably one of the best Bizen tea caddies. The bottom is marked with a kiln mark and the side is carved with a spatula. On the back of the lid of the inner box, there is an inscription by Fumisai Munemuro, "Bizen tea caddy, Hoshu (flower stamp)," and on the front of the lid, Gennasai Munemuro wrote, "On the back of the lid, Ishio's calligraphy is attached, Abumi no Seichusai.
