Height 10.5 cm, mouth diameter 10.9 cm, bottom diameter 10.5 cm
This is a tatemizu with an extremely simple cylindrical form. The entire body is slightly thickly molded, with a sesame glaze applied vertically on one side and a reddish-black burnished skin on the outer surface, as if it had been coated with clay. It is thought to have been made before the Tensho period, and Mr. Katsura Matasaburo has judged it to be of the Muromachi period (1336-1573). The flat bottom is marked with a kiln mark.
