Height 7.2 cm, mouth diameter 15.2 cm, bottom diameter 11.0 cm
This is probably a kettle with an Ichino-gasa (a hat with a woman’s head on top of it). It is probably of this shape. The exterior of the jar is white with a clear Hidasuki (scarlet tasuki) pattern, and the clay skin is soft and tight. A unique kiln mark is spatula-engraved on the underside. This pottery belonged to the former collection of Mr. Masayoshi Kato.
