This vase has an unusual shape with square ears on the left and right sides of the mouth, which is commonly referred to as “Tang Inu-mimi. The mouth rim is rounded inward, the shoulders are rounded, and the body is slightly open at the base, which is supported by a solid base. The body is slightly open at the base with a firm base. Deep spatula carvings undulate in a mountain-like pattern under the shoulders, and shallow vertical spatula lines are clearly marked in one or two stripes on either side of the body as well as one thick vertical line on the back, as if made with a fingertip. The front is heavily covered with ash, the top is burnt dark brown, and the lower left half has a dark greenish-blue glaze, reminiscent of a mossy rock. The back is unglazed and has a light brown burnt surface, with blackening only around the base. The bottom is flat with cracks in the kiln. There are traces of a hole in the shoulder where the potter’s wheel had been filled.
