Height 19.2cm, mouth diameter 19.8cm, left and right 22.7cm, bottom diameter 15.5cm
This is a Shigaraki water jar with two tiers on the body and ears on the left and right sides. There are very few Shigaraki mizusashi with ears, and few examples can be found. This is a large sui-jig with an interesting design. The ash glaze runs gently from the base to the bottom of the body, and the clay skin is reddish brown and tight. There are two marks on the bottom. It came to the Sekido family in Nagoya.
