Height 6.8 cm, mouth diameter 3.6 cm, bottom diameter 4.3 cm
This Momoyama-style tea caddy is similar in style to a Seto tea caddy. It is a Momoyama-style tea caddy, probably made in the late Keicho, Genna, and Kan’ei periods, as well as the previous painting. The body is hemmed with a spatula around the waist. The bottom of the bowl has an ito-bottom. The bottom has an ito (thread) sole. Some parts are decorated with ash and others with seto. This is an excellent example of a Tamba ware tea caddy. The body has fine vertical stripes on three sides. On the front of the lid, there is an inscription by the ninth generation Omotesenke Ryōrōsai: “Tamba Chāyuri-Ebiju Left (Hanashō)”.
