Height 7.9 cm, mouth diameter 3.9 cm, bottom diameter 4.4 cm
This tea caddy has a shoulder-jointed shape with a ball-shaped rim, but the lower part of the body is stretched tightly to form a so-called “dojikata” shape. The bottom of the bowl is tapered and the flat bottom is cut with an itokiri (ito cut). The shape of the body is lightly covered with ashi-washi in the shape of a sesame sleeve. The origin of the inscription “Shokage” is not clear.
