Height 20.8 cm, mouth diameter 13.3 cm, bottom diameter 11.7 cm
This unique shape, with the mouth made in the ubaguchi style, the shoulders rounded and stroked, and the body tightened in the hem-bari style, was popular in Karatsu and Arita for a time in the early Edo period.
The front is decorated with lotus motifs in dark blue and white mud, and the back is decorated with wave patterns, over which the entire surface is covered with light lapis lazuli.
The base is solid and strong, and there are cracks in some parts.
This is probably not a descendant of the Kan’ei period.
