This is a type of lidless cup of the first half of the 6th century, in which the cup is remarkably enlarged. The cup has a narrow band in the middle with a thin wavy pattern below it. The foot is thin and has a staggered openwork pattern flanked by two sunken lines. The base of the pedestal is broadened with flowing lines, giving it a sense of stability.
