This is an ancient, lidless high cup dating to the first half of the 6th century. As shown in Figure 85, the upper part of this type opened wide around the beginning of the 6th century, but then became smaller again. The long legs of the base are watermarked on three sides. The wheel-thrown pattern on the pedestal is a characteristic of this period.
