Toward the middle of the 7th century, the high cup tended to degenerate and become smaller in size. The size of the upper part of the cup remained the same, but the legs of the base became shorter, and watermarks were placed on only two sides of the cup in a two-tiered arrangement. The upper inner surface of the legs is marked by the twisting of the clay, which has been thinly squeezed on the wheel.
