　The inside is decorated with Imari’s unique arabesque and peony arabesque patterns in gorgeous colors such as underglaze blue, red, and gold on a mellow yellow ground. The outside is roughly decorated with red beads on a white ground, and chrysanthemum patterns are shown within a frame on all four sides, an expression unique to Imari ceramics. Inside the base is a two-line, six-character inscription in underglaze blue, “Made in the year of Damei Jiayasu.
