The bowl has a bell-shaped rim that rises low, and a three-sided rhombus-style frame with a karahana design within a circular window in the center, with three flying phoenixes between the three sides. The outside is vividly decorated with a fish design in underglaze blue and red. This is a rare design of its kind. The double circular circle inside the stand is inscribed with the inscription, “Made in the year of the dawn of the Ming dynasty,” and six marks remain.
