Height 11.8 cm, mouth 55.7 cm, bottom diameter 27.5 cm
This is a rare large work of this type, recently imported from Yoguchidupa. The circular window with a view shows a tree in the center and peony branches on either side of the tree in a highly elegant design, and the rim has a six-sided window in the kakusaima style with a pine, bamboo, and plum design on a taiko-ishi stone inside. The shape is in the Fuyote style, but the design is completely Japanese in style. The reverse side is plain, and there are ten marks within the base. This example was probably made around the Genroku period (1688-1704).
