Height 11.8 cm, mouth diameter 33.8 cm, bottom diameter 13.8 cm.
This is a rather deep bowl with a broad sword-shaped rim and a six-sided floral border. The rim has a six-sided floral circle with a flying phoenix design in the center and clouds and wildflowers in bunches around it in fine brushwork. The base is a milky-white with a slightly rough finish. The outer three sides are decorated with a design of orizabushi branches. Large bowls of this size are extremely rare. It was probably made between the Kanbun and Enpo periods.
