Bowl with, enamelled ware

Bowl with autumn grass design, enamelled ware

These pieces are also of the same shape and quality, although they may be of different sizes. The bowl with rose and flowers design in overglaze enamels and the bowl with autumn grasses design in overglaze enamels have almost the same design as the Hampton Court octagonal sake pot, with wisteria hakama on one side and bellflower design on the other, and a peony branch design on the prospective side. The lower limit of this piece can therefore be dated to the seventh year of the Genroku era (Genroku 7). The bowl with a plum and bamboo design in overglaze enamels shows a plum tree with a taiko-ishi stone in the center on two sides, a bamboo design on one side, and a peach design on the prospective side. The bowl with an Asuka design in overglaze enamels has three sparrows on one side of the body, a chrysanthemum design centered on a taiko-ishi stone on the other side, and five paulownia patterns scattered on the front. There is one mark on the base of the bowl. The bowl is of the same shape as the bowl with a design of peaches in overglaze enamels, and the rim design is the same as that of the bowl with a design of roses and flowers in overglaze enamels and the bowl with a design of peaches in overglaze enamels. The outside of the bowl has a Chinese figure and banana design on one side, and a plum tree design on the other side, with a plum tree design on the prospective side. There is a single mark on the base of the bowl.
