This dish has the same shape as the dish inscribed “Genroku 12” and the inscription on the back “Genroku 12 Kaki” (persimmon), suggesting that they were probably made at the same time. However, the patterns on the two vessels are completely different, with a cloisonne design on the interior and arabesque designs in the style of “perfect flowers” on the exterior. The cloisonne design is very similar to that of Nabeshima, and the floral arabesque design is close to the kinrande of ko-Imari molds.
