This is a small bowl in the shape of a ring flower, with Karahana patterns on the inner three sides and turtle shell and rhombus patterns in the three compartments between the three sides. It is a so-called “ko-Imari” type of work, and a character “Kaki” (persimmon) is written in red overglaze pigment on the base in the same brush style as the Genroku shingle design.
