The shape of the bowl is smaller by about 1 cm on each side, and the sides are flattened without carving for the joints. The design shows a rather delicate danshong pattern, and the arabesques at the four corners are more neatly arranged. The dragon and dragon-like dragon design is similar to that on an octagonal milky-white handled bowl from the Genroku period (1688-1704), so it is thought to have been made around the same time. However, considering the purpose of this type of ceramic plate, there must be many of the same type, but so far we have only seen this one.
