Height 5.4 cm, mouth diameter 22.4 x 22.2 cm, base diameter 13.2 cm, tripod
This is a tripod dish with legs on the three outer sides of a wide serpentine base, the rim of which has been worked into a leaf shape. The border is decorated with a design of morning glories in underglaze blue and covered with a celadon glaze. The glazed surface is oxidized and has a yellowish tinge. The celadon glaze is somewhat dull, but this is probably one of Minamikawawara’s celadon glazed wares.
The low, broad base is thinly coated with cast glaze.
