Height 12.5 cm, mouth diameter 43.5~44.4 cm, base diameter 21.5 cm
This is a flat bowl with a large, edge-bent mouth. A ceramic fragment of the same type was excavated from an old kiln site in Kutani. However, this bowl is decorated with a circle of underglaze blue, so it is probably made in Arita. The center of the prospect has an octagonal frame with a Kano school style Chinese figure within, and inside there are five windows in the Kakusa-ma style, each with a figure, with fine floral motifs filling in the spaces between them.
On the reverse side, the five windows are decorated with eight treasures, and Karafana-style patterns are placed in between.
