The lower right half of this water jar is covered with iron glaze, while the upper half from the mouth area to the top is covered with a cloudy white glaze, creating an interesting glaze landscape color. The flat base is stamped with a large seal in the shape of a small oval by Insei. The upper half of the interior is covered with a white glaze and the lower half with a transparent glaze. The outer glaze may have been modeled after the Korean dangjin style.
