The painting of spring orchids is uninhibited from the waist to the rim of the mouth, but the underglaze blue is thin and the iron-work is darker. The reverse side is inscribed “Yuufeng Sheng Yuanzhi Qianshan Shoujun (calligraphy) (flower seal)” in praise of the poem.
