Height 24.1 cm, mouth diameter 3.8 cm, body diameter 14.8 cm, bottom diameter 9.5 cm
This is a hot-rod-shaped sake cup similar to those seen in Bizen ware. The mouth and base of the body are covered with a thick glaze of a color of decayed leaves with rough penetrations, on which is painted an autumn grass design with chrysanthemums as the theme in colors and gold. The design is almost the same as in the previous example, but the mark “Iwakura” is stamped on the base of the clay vessel. It is not clear what kind of relationship existed between Iwakura ware and Otowa ware, but it is interesting to note that they are exactly the same.
