This is also a design based on Kenzan’s work, and vividly depicts the appearance of snow on bamboo grass. The fact that the handle is made of bamboo is also interesting, and this is one of the representative examples of Niami’s work. The bottom of the earthenware is stamped with a conch shell design, and the legs attached to the three sides are chamfered to a seven-sided shape, with openwork around the rim. The lid of the accompanying box is inscribed “Snow Bamboo Painting, Te-bachi, Michihachi Seal” and stamped with a conch shell design.
