This tea bowl is nearly identical in shape to Figure 76, but the rim is more strongly curved inward.
The bowl is formed thinly overall; the small, folded footring is narrow, and a shallow swirl-shaped depression has been carved out within the footring, with a tea pool formed in the interior. The glaze is applied evenly over the entire surface, resulting in a well-fused, lustrous, and smooth glaze finish; vermilion glaze appears along the glaze edges and is scattered throughout the interior. Ryoryo Sai has inscribed the box with the following: “Created by Ichinyu, titled ‘Colorful Robe’ (Seal on the left).”
